■Statment

Continuously confronting “realism” led to the realization that “realism encompasses not only what is visible, but also the ability to depict the unseen and the evoked”. From there, captivated by the precision of the underlying “real”, I have come to desire understanding and immersion in its beauty.

"Nature (original)" refers to the realm of physical phenomena and all things that humans cannot perceive, which I have captured using the powers of observation I have developed through my work.

I consider "myself" to be part of "nature," but I further analyze "myself" in terms of two other concepts.

The first is the "(other) self," an identity formed from the environment and values outside of "myself." The second is what remains when all of the "self" is removed from "myself."

I will call this the "soul."

The meaning of my work is to face "nature/self" and listen to the voice of my "soul," and I paint for the romantic feeling of the connection between the two.

So my works are just the by-products of this process.
I would be happy to know that I have breathed life into my works and moved someone who has encountered them.
